Ajna Glisic, LMFT

Ajna Glisic is a Mental Health Program Coordinator for Sacramento County, Behavioral Health Services, Cultural Competence Unit. She is also a Licensed Family and Marriage Therapist, with over 15 years of experience working in the Mental Health field. Her specialties include cross-cultural counseling, ecotherapy, treating Perinatal Mood Disorders, counseling older adults, and treating depression and anxiety.


In her work, she uses various therapeutic modalities, including Person Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. She completed her M.S. Degree in Counselor Education from CSU Sacramento in 2007, and her BA Degree in Psychology from UC Davis in 2002. In her spare time, Ajna enjoys herbalism, cooking, reading, gardening, and taking walks with her dog Icy.


Vinder Lallian, LMFT, CCTP

AVinder Lallian, LMFT, CCTP is the Clinical Director at My Sister’s House, where she brings over 15 years of experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Vinder specializes in working with survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking. Her approach is deeply trauma-informed and grounded in cultural humility. Vinder provides individual and group therapy, psychoeducation, case management, and advocacy—ensuring her clients receive holistic, compassionate care. Alongside her leadership role, she also maintains a thriving private practice.


Vinder earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of California, Davis, and completed her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Alliant International University. Outside of her professional life, Vinder finds joy in spending time with her husband of nearly 25 years and their four children.

Hosted by Sangam of East Bay, this full-day event brings together people of all ages for a meaningful experience filled with sports, outreach, and celebration. From morning ceremonies to evening festivities, every moment is crafted to inspire togetherness and give back to those in need.

Morning Ceremony & Community Activities

The day kicks off at Don and Brenda Nottoli Community Park with an opening ceremony, followed by exciting sports and engaging community outreach activities. Attendees can enjoy games, cultural experiences, and social interaction in a vibrant outdoor setting. A complimentary lunch will be provided, so bring your energy and appetite for a day of connection and fun.

Evening Fundraiser: Dinner & Dance

As the sun sets, the celebration continues at Pat O’Brien Community Center with a lively Dinner & Dance Fundraiser. The evening promises delicious food, drinks (including beer and wine), music, and great company. Tickets are just $30, and children under 12 attend for free — making it a perfect night out for families.

Purpose & Community Impact
